About IBSC
IBSC Stands for Inquisitive, Balanced, Spirited, and Compassionate
International Bilingual School at Central Science Park (IBSC) was established in 2018, and completed its recruitment goal (Grade 1-Grade 12) in 2021. The curriculum is based on the California Common Core Standards. Except for Chinese and several Taiwanese Social Studies courses, the rest are taught in English. IBSC aims at cultivating students to be inquisitive, balanced, spirited, and compassionate in learning. After taking SAT, ACT exam, students are expected to continue their studies overseas, or stay in universities in Taiwan through the application of talented program.
AP Level II school accredited by College Board. Experienced AP teachers and AP courses. IBSC is also qualified to hold annual AP exam in school.
Students come from different countries, and the family background include science park local and foreign employees, returned scholars, etc. Delicate guidance and education in small size classes.
All teachers are certified subject teachers hired through standard teacher recruitment procedure.
Various options in elective courses depending on teachers’ professionality. For instance, Environmental Science, Percussion Ensemble, International Human Rights Law, Literacy Support, Introduction to the Writing for the Arts, etc.
Abundant student clubs and afterschool time choices. Students are also allowed to take courses in NEHS self-directed learning class, such as FRC program.
